"ON THE STATION PLATFORM"
CELL: GOKUMA STATION
SCENE: The Man stumbles out of the train and into the cold night air. The platform is deserted and conspicuously derelict, covered in filth uncharacteristic of the average Japanese train station.
ANIMATION: Almost immediately after getting off the train, the Man presses his hand against his head in apparent discomfort before speaking.
Man
(Ugh...my head is killing me. Just what went on at that party? ...Is it bad that I don't remember?)
Man
(But more importantly...)
ANIMATION: The camera pans around the station platform, giving the player a thorough look at its ramshackle nature.
Man
(...What kind of sorry excuse for a station is this? It feels like I rode all the way to some filthy town in the sticks.)
Man
(I guess I should take a look at the schedule to see when the next inbound train's coming around.)
At this point, the player gains control of the Man for the first time and is able to explore the station platform.
