SETTING: STRESSIN' STREET, CELL 2 SCENE: The Salaryman and Takami have a conversation, just above the boundary between Stressin' Street, Cell 2 and Arson Street. Salaryman ...You said they aren't so bad, right? The skeletons. Takami Are you scared, Mister Salaryman? Salaryman The terrifying image of animated skeletons dancing around flaming objects is forever burned into my retinas. So yes. Takami Heheh, "burned". Salaryman ... Takami S-Sorry. But seriously, don't worry! They're honestly super nice. Salaryman If you insist... Takami I'll go ahead, so just follow me! Takami floats ahead into the next cell, Arson Street. Salaryman (...It can't be helped.) The Salaryman follows Takami out of the cell, and the screen fades out before fading back in. The setting of the scene changes. The actors are now in Arson Street. Takami, visibly conversing with a group of skeletons, waves to the Salaryman. Takami There you are! Welcome to Arson Street, Mister Salaryman! Pyromaniac Skeleton #1 WHAT'S HANGIN', SUIT MAN? Pyromaniac Skeleton #2 GOOD LUCK ESCAPING HECK! Salaryman A-Ah, thanks. The Salaryman scratches the back of his head, forcing a laugh. Takami I was just telling them about our adventure! Salaryman Were you, now... Pyromaniac Skeleton #2 WE SEE IT ALL THE TIME FOR SOME REASON! Pyromaniac Skeleton #1 MAYBE MORTALS ARE ATTRACTED TO MASSIVE, UNCONTROLLABLE FIRES. Takami Well, this street is on the way from the station and all... Pyromaniac Skeleton #1 I LITERALLY JUST MADE THAT CONNECTION! Pyromaniac Skeleton #2 T-DAWG WITH THE WORDS OF WISDOM! Takami Aw, stop it, you guys. ♪ Takami See, Mister Salaryman? They're not so bad after all! Salaryman I see that....it's a relief. (Never in my life did I think I'd encounter a skeleton that calls someone "dawg", but I'll take what I can get, here.) Takami The main street is just up ahead! Let's get moving! Takami returns to her usual follower's position, behind the Salaryman. The player regains control of the protagonists and is able to freely explore the cell.
